Oh sweet October – you who likes to make me keenly aware of my L-O-V-E of pumpkin.  So, this Friday’s Favorite FALL Things post is all about two of my favorite Fall activities – carving and decorating pumpkins and eating pumpkin-flavored treats.  (You know, how I live in October.)  First of all, this has been a very big year in the Cooper household – now don’t call the authorities on me but I shouted this statement to my children the other day, “Hurry up!  Let’s get in the car!  Don’t forget to grab your knives.”  YUP!  Out of my mouth came that sentence.  I actually looked to make sure the garage door was closed after I said that!  Well, what wasn’t shouted out loud was how excited I was for our little ghosts and goblins to go to a Pumpkin Carving event at our church (hence, bring your own knives)!  I mean, when did my children become old enough to carve their own pumpkins?  Apparently this year – in one fell swoop – not differentiated by age – just simply this year.  And what an event it was – Jackson brought home a Dr. Who pumpkin, Peyton and Brenna made faces – so cute!

Five images including pumpkin crescent rolls, carved pumpkins and a glitter pumpkin.

If you saw my Pumpkin Patch portraits, I included a Glittered Pumpkin – easy peasy if you have spray adhesive and spray little amounts and add glitter on a smaller scale – Adorable!  And why not keep up with the pumpkin theme this week with a new recipe for Pumpkin Croissants – I found this recipe on a blog and decided to make these tasty treats – I mean HELLO BREAKFAST!  Check out: http://ralphsag.com/mini-fall-pumpkin-pie-croissants/  Yum! Yum! and more Yum!  So, you could crave your pumpkin or cook your pumpkin, but either way – keep enjoying PUMPKINS for as long as fall will stay with us!
