Happy Halloween to you and yours! Halloween wraps up one of my favorite months of the year – October and while I am sad to see it go, I love reminiscing on Halloween about all the Halloweens of the past. I always liked Halloween as a child, especially heading over to that favorite house of mine that gave out a SUPER BIG package of Bubble Yum Gum! 🙂 After Trick-or-Treating, my friends and I would sort through and trade out candy. Reese’s Peanut Butter cups always tasted better on Halloween, I tell you.
Brett and I divide and conquer on Halloween each year. I stay home and hand out approximately 300 pieces each year, including Smartie’s for the littlest of ghosts and goblins and Brett takes the kiddos out to trick-or-treat around our neighborhood. As the night wraps up, I present my Halloween dinner – Shepherd’s Pie with cheese on top to make our yummy dinner look like a Jack-O-Latern! So from our home to yours – Happy Halloween – may you have more treats than tricks during your day!
