Oh, sweet, amazing, wonderful, fabulous summer…. long, easy mornings… fun nights full of laughter! I *heart* summer! I just do!
Two weeks ago my family and I visited one of my favorite spots – a traditional Cooper family, summer getaway to the Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp and Resort in Marion, NC. We just love it.
My family and I rent a wonderful cabin, which includes A/C, a bedroom, a loft area, TV and a kitchen, but we aren’t there for much of the time, because there is so much to do. Where do I begin?
There is a triple loop waterslide, a pool, a lake, mini-golf, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts, geocaching, and so much more. It might be hot, but because you are in the mountains, it is so much cooler. My husband’s family stayed at Yogi Bear Camp Grounds growing up and we have continued the tradition, staying the longest we have ever stayed this year, from Monday – Friday.
Since we stayed during the week, we were able to get free wristbands for all the activities. So very much fun and I am so thankful and blessed for all the memories we made!
