So most of the time, I am a total photography nerd. I love looking at portraits; I love talking about F-stops and shutter speeds; I love getting into a good-natured debate about which is best – Nikon or Canon.
But, I became the BIGGEST photography nerd earlier this month at a conference called, “The Baby Summit”. It starred… errr… I mean, featured some of my favorite newborn/baby photographers including Heidi Hope, Kelly Brown, Ana Brandt, and so many others.
As a photographer and business owner, I try to take time throughout the year to learn new techniques, keep up on the latest in running my business, learn from the best about how to increase business, manage stress and focus on priorities. The Baby Summit couldn’t have come at a crazier time, but my soul feels revived and my brain is just finally starting to feel like I am comprehending everything that I learned.
Another great thing about The Baby Summit was the vendors! There were FABULOUS vendors selling so many wonderful things from equipment to clothes to props.
If you have a session booked with me over the next few months, I want to apologize in advance for the energy and excitement I am going to bring to the table…. nevermind, I take back the apology! I can’t believe how lucky I am to do this work and I am so thankful to all of you for being with me on this journey!
