Well, we made it to February! Right around the corner is a special day to show the one you love just how much you love them and why not celebrate with a home made sweet treat – chocolate covered strawberries!
A few weeks ago, I was headed to a get together with some friends and was asked to bring something to eat! As I was in the store, I saw this fabulous kit from America’s Candiquick which has a container to melt the chocolate – that way you don’t get one of your dishes all messy with hardening chocolate, which is difficult to clean!
Right now, Florida strawberries are in season and DELICIOUS! And I mean, aren’t chocolate covered strawberries healthy for you?? It is fruit and isn’t chocolate heart healthy??
Needless to say, everyone was focusing on being heathly, because the strawberries were a huge hit and they were delicious. What was even better, I was able to recycle the chocolate container for an easy-peasey cleanup!
