Oh how I love the Outback Steakhouse. I seriously didn’t bury the lead in this Friday’s Favorite Things post; I cut right to the chase. I mean, the food is delicious, the environment is family-friendly and did I mention the food…. YUM!!! I LOVE to order the salmon and sweet potatoes. It really is such a tasty treat. We went the other day for dinner with a gift card and I was literally thinking about it all day long. Planned all the rest of my eating around that one meal!! 🙂 And I was able to add it early to my iTrack Bites app, so I knew how many points I had for the rest of the day!
Brett and I learned a little trick with seating, because it is usually pretty busy (I mean, naturally – have you ever tried a blooming onion!). We go to the bar section, where they have tables. Now, the tables are first come, first serve, but it is a great way to have a shorter wait time and still be able to enjoy all the meals, because they serve the full menu at the bar, too! Win- win! 🙂

PS – I had planned a night at Outback a few weeks ago, knowing this post was coming up on my blog schedule. Well, wouldn’t you know, I ate my meal and realized I didn’t snap one picture!! Haha!! Turns out we had to spoil ourselves and go a second time a week later. #ididthisforyou
